Arun Sivag is a Bangalore-based musician and social entrepreneur. His performances have been featured at many prestigious venues and concerts across India and the world. He has contributed percussion scoring for various film projects. Arun studied music at the University of Gothenburg, specializing in World Music (percussion). Financing his own education from an early age, he found opportunities to learn from workers in social justice organizations who were dedicated to performing arts. After his bachelor’s study of fundamental concepts within Humanities. These experiences have tempered his contribution as a cultural delegate to over 15 countries where he represented India in delivering performances and awareness lectures curated to promote unorthodox means for global integration, cultural dialogue and preservation of endangered ethnicities. He holds a master’s in Social Work and continues to tirelessly organize local workshops and performances for communities who cannot afford it , as well as tour internationally and within the region in collaboration with various renowned artists and producers.
