Living in Switzerland until February 2026 for an internship and not in a position to host!

Hello there!

My name is Arvid, I'm a 24 year-old Belgian, student, bikepacker, hammock enjoyer, art and history enthusiast, conversationalist, human rights absolutist, chronic mind-dweller.

At university I worked at the services for international students for a few years, which is where I discovered just how much I enjoy to meet new people, learn about cultural particularities and discover different perspectives! :)

I'm always ready to hang out, go for a walk, sit under a tree, try some food I haven't had before, grab a drink, or do something silly for fun.

Also firmly believe that to eat good is one of if not the most important thing in life (although in the kitchen I have much to learn)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Used to couchsurf all the time before COVID when going to festivals abroad. Got back into it while bikepacking and solo travelling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my most recent bikepacking trip I met a few people that were going to Marseille. Changed my plans to go and see them there, and we ended up hopping the fence for a festival and the vip afterparty
