Overview
About Me
I'm a down to earth kind of guy who still enjoys the finer things in life.
Seeing all the different sides of this beautiful world and exchanging stories with friends both old an new is what it's all about, preferably this can be done over a good meal and with a drink or two.
I'm also a vegetarian, viking, environmentalist, engineer, feminist, foodie, musician, massagemaster, pacifist, and pirate among other things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
See new places, meet new people, experience the world. Sharing culture and stories!
Travelling is always better when you get to know the locals!
Interests
I sometimes feel like I have too many interests. If I only had one or a few I might be better at them, you know? Anyways, here is a sumary of my main interests:
-Music: I love both creating and listening to music, this involves singing, playing the guitar, lying on the couch with headphones on and of course going to live events!
-Cooking: I was lucky enough to grow up in a home where both my parents cooked great meals. I started helping out in the kitchen and cooking meals for the family quite young and ever since then I have enjoyed cooking greatly. Trying out new things and making up new recipes is just so much fun!
-Collecting and tasting whisky
-Traveling (Well, duh!)
-Being out in nature: I have always felt at home in nature and there is nothing quite like the tranquility you can experience when you leave the modern world behind you!
-Reading
-Cinema: I like a wide variety of films, anything from old silent black-and-whites to modern day blockbusters. In highschool I watched all the movies on the IMDB top 250 list over a period of about two years!
-Sports etc.: I played a lot of sports growing up, like soccer, icehockey, tennis, table-tennis, floor-ball, golf and even american football for a while. Nowadays I'm more into outdoor sports like skiing, hiking, running and the likes but I enjoy almost any sport, so challenge me!

Hiking the GR20 long distance trail on Corsica in under 9 days!
Bathing in hot springs under the northern lights in Iceland!
Running naked through a field of corn on a summers night with some friends in southern Sweden!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a decently wide skill-set, which I am more than willing to share with whomever I come across in my travels. Everything from playing the guitar to cooking a great meal or sailing or wood working. See my interests for more examples.
I've also worked as a substitute teacher and a private tutor before.
What I Can Share with Hosts
