I like to meet as many people as possible. I am amazed every single time at where a conversation with a stranger takes me.

I'm pretty outgoing and fun. I'll be up for a beer and hangin' out on almost any day. I really love traveling - been on a lot of road trips across the country and met some really interesting people. I try to see new places as often as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not too much of a movie buff, but wouldn't mind an occasional thriller. I read fairly widely - philosophy, tech, economics, fiction, biographies - ask me for good recommendations. Music - really depends on what I'm doing - classical when I'm working, super trashy and fun pop when I'm driving, rock when I'm just listening to music. The point is to have fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've climbed Mt. Whitney, the highest mountain in the lower 48. I was once chased by a lightning storm on a mountain in New Mexico. I've encountered mama black bears with cubs, chased down a scree-slope by a couple of rude mountain goats. I've also done three cross-country trips across the US. I've also done week long backpacking trips in Alaska, Zion NP, Yosemite, Adirondacks, Catskills, and Grand Teton NP.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a couple of things about cool stuff like lasers, or argue about climate change, or endlessly discuss about which national park is the best (I especially love this one).
