ABOUT ME

99% of the time, I'm genuinely delighted by where I am, what I'm doing, and who I'm with. I love meeting new people and generally like everyone I meet. Sometimes this means I come across as silly and naive, but that doesn't bother me anymore.

PHILOSOPHY

At 27, I'm still ironing out my philosophy. I'm an ex-Protestant, but to be honest my views still remain fairly Judeo-Christian. I identify strongly with Liberation Theology, despite my lack of faith.

I work with small children and often have to pare down complex ideas into manageable instructions; usually I find myself saying "Focus on your own choices" and "You can't force your will onto someone else."

Politically I'm fairly liberal, a pacifist, and I think nationalism is ridiculous.

I teach English as a second language professionally, so I'm fairly comfortable helping people with their English. I'd very much like to learn Arabic and practice my Spanish.
