Overview
About Me
Originally from Spain. I've been living in London for 14 years.
I've worked as a journalist for more than 25 years. Nowadays I'm back to studying and I'm currently involved in childcare and education.
I've been following a vegan diet for 3 years but that doesn't define me 100% and I don't patronise anyone about their eating preferences and choices.
I'm a very empathetic, respectful and caring person and I'm not fan of big egos.
My sense of humour is pretty sarcastic and ironic.
I like simple things in life and I'm not a materialistic person.
Oh, I almost forgot one of the most important things about me... I'm very clean, not just with my personal hygiene but with the spaces I use.
I wish I had a house to host people myself but I live in a bedsit with no couch so no hosting for now but I'll be delighted to be your guest and share my positive attitude, good energy and sense of humour! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been single for a couple of years and I really want to travel but I don't feel like doing it by myself...
A friend of mine travelled alone across Europe last summer doing Couch surfing. She never felt lonely and met lots of really nice people. I felt jealous and now I want to try it myself.
Interests
I'm a very active person. My bicycle is my way of transport and I love to cycle around London discovering markets, new places, hidden spaces and old pubs, specially along the river Thames.
I love cooking and eating and, although I'm not a heavy drinker, I love red wine!
I also enjoy trecking in the country side.
I'm passionate about good music, of any style but, please, let it be of good quality! Not into commercial music at all... I like Indie Pop, House, Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz, Bach, Reggae, Boleros, Flamenco, Ska... Very eclectic... And if there's a party with good house music I can be dancing for hours!
