Currently on a mission of deconditioning the layers of "stuff" that was picked up growing up from society, education, and family.

My life themes are exploration, discovery, and transformation - which is why I love travel, seeing other ways of being, talking to people and connecting. I love beautiful places, people, animals, curiosity, exploration, deep wisdom...

These days I have rekindled my yoga practice. I am an experienced, although not entirely consistent, meditator. I learned the Vipassana meditation technique (sat 6 10- day courses so far).

I studied abroad in Prague in 2011 and enjoyed the experience so much that I continued living in the Czech Republic. I'm originally from California (father is from U.S. and mother is from Cyprus). I currently live in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

The more you give, the more you get.
Treat others the way you want to be treated.
We really are all connected, we just usually forget!

Couch surfing is amazing- you get the opportunity to share kindness and inspiration with people you never met! It is one of my favorite things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Vipassana --> 10 day silent meditation retreats

In 2014 I attended a Vipassana meditation course. It gave me a deeper awareness and understanding. It has had a big improvement on my life, and continues to do so. I think anyone who completed the course will say the same. It will change your life! Just like Couchsurfing :) I have sat courses in Germany, Austria, Ukraine, California, Poland, and Malaysia. I have also served in the Czech Republic, California, and Malaysia.
