ABOUT ME

My name is Ashley. I am 20 years old and studying abroad in Florence, italy. I am in my third year of college, hoping to one day be a teacher. I am originally from a small suburb about an hour away from San Francisco, CA. My childhood consisted of many family vacations and weekend trips to our cabin at Lake Tahoe. I have always loved to travel and learn about new cultures and people. For college I moved to San Francisco and loved it. There is such a unique culture there that is hard to find anywhere else in the world. The diversity of culture in the people, food, areas, is really exciting and has made me even more interested in traveling. My new life in Florence is fun; learning a new way of life and making new friends. But it isn't enough to just live somewhere new; which is why while I'm in Europe I want to see as many places and meet as many people as I can.

I learned about Coach Surfing from a teacher my third year in high school. I am disappointed I didn't take advantage of this while I was in the States, but I am eager to finally use it!
