ABOUT ME

I'm currently a multimedia journalism major at the University of Texas @Austin. I'm not sure how my future career will pan out, but I hope to be some sort of digital story teller. I have a passion for things that involve the abstract, like art, science, and technology. I enjoy finding adventures and exploring the world, and I enjoy talking to people who do the same. I am a big fan of cats, and tall trees.

PHILOSOPHY

I think you can't tell anyone what to do or how to live their life. You can just listen to their stories when they're done, and situate your own life in turn.

I've only just begun my couch surfing experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the summer of 2011 I went to Portland and Seattle, couch surfing the entire way. I don't think there is any other way to travel, now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently completed my first triathlon. I'm not sure if it counts as something "amazing" but it was pretty extraordinary for me.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been working with video software for a few years. I can teach how to use basic editing software like iMovie, and more difficult software like Final Cut Pro and Adobe. I also know how to use tools for digital story telling, like blogs, storify, coveritlive, and of course twitter.

I recently started working with platforms for online content, and have a beginners knowledge about Content Management Systems and coding. I would love to learn more!
