Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm planning on travelling extensively from August 2017 onwards. I really believe that 'people make a place' and that connecting with locals in different cities will enhance my experience.

I want to learn about your culture and, possibly, practise my foreign languages (and pick up more along the way!)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a highly-qualified English language teacher and would be more than happy to give a couple of hours of my language skills to help others practise or hone their English skills. And not only English! I'm a native Italian speaker too, and have C2 level Spanish (Castillian) and French and B2 level Portuguese. As you can see, I love love love languages. Wish someone would pay me to learn more!
As I'm half Italian, I'm also quite a decent cook and love preparing food, so if you trust me in your kitchen, I would gladly make some Italian dish... or British one for that matter! (don't knock British grub - I make a mean cottage pie!)
