sorry to all those who i havent been able to put up , ive been gone a while ....but i'm back :)

ABOUT ME

I'm a outgoing guy frae Skye ,an avid folk musician ,Fiddle, Guitar ,singing ... love cooking ... eating, drinking, smoking ...i often have friends round for a bit of a gathering,and some tunes, or getting the craic as we would say here!!
I was away from Skye traveling for about four years , came back to get a bit of ground on Skye .
I managed to get five Acres with fantastic views,some small birch woodland and a salmon river,the name of my place is Drochaid Lusa ( Gaelic for "The bridge over the river of flowers " ),if you want to find me it is marked on most OS maps as there was a village here until 1948
I have two large caravans ( although they are more like chalets )overlooking Broadford Bay and seven islands of the inner sound , so i have plenty of space for those passing through.
I am in the process of building a walled garden for self sustainability and hoping to build a violin making workshop this summer .

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Would love to show people round when i have time plenty of walks on the doorstep ,i'm also three min from the best beach in south skye and close to the main road ,so easy to get here, catch a bus ,hitch .
there are three choices for the closest villages, as they are the same distance, about three and a half miles to Broadford, kyle, or kyleakin in ether direction .
looking forward to showing people around what i regard as Paradise

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not done any surfing myself but i have met a few great people i picked up hitching last summer who stayed at mine who were couch surfers, and who told me of this community
