I would like to think I am a respectful, open-minded, fun person who loves traveling and funny people

It is fascinating to be able to see the world through others' eyes and perspectives, which is one main reason I love couchsurfing. It is a great way to give, and the incredible people you can meet in this adventure make it completely worth your time and involvement.

I live with my boyfriend, Jeremy, two dogs and a mostly outdoor cat. The only serial killer among us is my cat, but he'll be very sweet to you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host people when I can! Surf when I can! I love traveling but since buying a house and adopting the cutest dog ever I've unfortunately let my travel desires fall by the wayside a little bit. We love hosting but also love our independence, so please understand that, while I would love to host everybody who comes through, I would be lying if I said I am never selfish with my home and friends...i am human, and an introverted one at that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have now had the pleasure of hosting a number of people passing through Asheville for a variety of reasons. I have couchsurfed in other countries while traveling and always had a great experience. For me, all aspects of couchsurfing are an adventure. Whether you are a host, a surfer, a friend to people passing through, a source of information, you are participating in a connection with a fellow human being that you may otherwise never have had. Maybe it's like tasting a sauce for the first time and not expecting to like it, but upon tasting it realizing you couldn't believe you'd never had it before.

i know some pretty useless things...can teach you to translate Latin, climb on aerial equipment, sew some basic things, play the piano badly, appreciate sarcasm
