Hi! My name is Ashi (pronounced awe-she), haha. Anyway, I grew up in Los Angeles, California. I have 7 siblings and am currently attended a school called Santa Monica College. My goal is to transfer to UCLA by next fall! I've never used counchsurfer before, but I've heard amazing thinks online about it and am excited for the upcoming journeys!

I am on Couchsurfing to expand my horizons and go out of my comfort zone. All my life I've lived in the same city and I think it is time for me to learn about other places and meet new people. I want to learn about culture while also being able to give value to other people by being myself.

兴趣

I love to laugh, and be light-hearted. I like to learn either through conversation, books, or movies. I play piano almost every day, and I try to paint as much as I can. I am interested in different cultures and beliefs than the ones I was exposed to. I like to see the sunset and sunrise as often as possible. I do a lot of yoga in order to recover from a spinal fusion operation that I had in 2011.

Favorite movies: I like everything except for horror movies
Books: The Fountainhead, harry potter, the power of now, and basically anything I can learn from or enjoy.

I once found 6 caterpillars and watched them build their own cocoons over the span of a few weeks, and, eventually, go on to become butterflies.

I teach abstract art, and piano. I only play piano by ear, so I would not be as proficient teaching someone how to read music versus teaching someone to play by ear.

I am helpful, thoughtful, and appreciative. I can help around the house and with other affairs and errands. I can teach piano and a little guitar and we can find caterpillars together:)
