Hello, my name is Ashia! I came to live in Jamaica from the U.K. with my family almost 10 years ago when I was a young teen. I'm currently living in Kingston, Jamaica and absolutely love it! I work as a TV producer for one of the local universities.

I love to travel and explore places that I have never been before. Based on my travelling experiences, I think the best way to travel is like a local - stay where they stay, eat where they eat, venture where they venture! This way I get to experience the real culture of the country and meet people the locals.

After living in Jamaica for so long, I have met some incredibly interesting people on the Island. It's a great place... an experience that cannot be explained. I love living in Jamaica and would like to show fellow travelers a little of Kingston, Jamaica!
