A wanderer caught up in a much romanticised city in an increasingly urbanising India. Friends, family and proximity to one of the oldest mountain ranges in India, the Western Ghats, keeps him glued to the drudgery. EMIs for a home loan are the latest addition which ensure I carry along.
I work for india's biggest newswire, PTI, writing on finance and technology sectors out of the financial capital. Also, I work in one of the oldest parts of the city which gave the city its identity and continues to house much of her heritage.
Getaways are a must and starting with hikes, my indulgences have now gone on to cover various other aspects, including cycle touring which I'm very passionate about.
I've cycled thrice to Goa from Mumbai on the coastal highway, twice in the beautiful Arunachal Pradesh, and one time each between Manali-Leh and the Maoism affected Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra.
