ABOUT ME

I am an English teacher from Buffalo, New York! I received my certifications in the USA but have spent the past couple years travelling the world... and working of course :). I currently live in Recife, Brasil. I enjoy practicing jiu-jitsu, dancing, and scuba diving. I love learning new things, and sometimes I overwhelm myself with too many activities!! I love meeting new people and I hope to make some great friends!

I enjoy satire and magical realism. My favorite author is Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and my tattoo is actually inspired by his 100 Years of Solitude! I also love books by Vonnegut.!

I'm not much of a movie person.. I will probably upset you on the lack of films I've seen - I apologize in advance.

I enjoy all types of music! I love to dance, so I enjoy a lot of latin music. I also really love Florence and the Machine and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
