I am currently majoring in Sociology and minoring in Anthropology, though I wish my university offered Anthropology as a major. To make up for this, I have (and am currently) taking all the anthropology courses offered. I ideally plan to attend graduate school for Anthropology though sometime after I graduate in the Spring 2017. First, I'm looking into joining FEMA before continuing my schooling. Most importantly, I am a mother (of a cat) named Otis. I am a lover of all weird things with a desire to just live in the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

This summer 2016 I am attending an anthropological field school in Malta, Europe. I want to make the most of time overseas and being a college kid, I am not the most wealthy. Most importantly though I wish to meet new people and learn about their cultures as well as themselves.

Interests

I am super into ancient and old architecture--someday I hope to travel to Cambodia to see the Angkor Thom temples and ruins. I love cats, camping, and being spontaneous.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music includes anything alternative and classic rock.
My favorite movie of all time is Stanley Kubrick's take on Stephen King's The Shining because it can get under your skin and Jack Nicholson is such a good actor.

I met some wonderful individuals through the last so many years that have taught me the importance of taking in the little things and to live a limitless life since this life is the only one we have (as far as we know).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to share my adventures and stories with others also interested in meeting new people and learning about their lives. It is interesting to think we are all different and experiencing life differently, but when we come together, our shared experiences can be more similar than we thought.
