ABOUT ME

The Basics: Student at Uppsala University in Sweden! For the moment, am studying "Intellectual History," where that will take me, I have no idea. I use my student loans to travel more then I use them for "study related" materials. Being out in the world teaches more then the words on the pages of the over-priced books I am suppose to buy. I enjoy the simply things. A glass of wine, Bon Iver, and good book defines my perfect evening. But I also enjoy socializing, preferably with a cold beverage and some good friends. Sports are a huge part of who I am, watching and playing! I am a die-hard ice hockey fan! Let's go Detroit Red Wings! Still waiting to meet Europeans who love ice hockey as much as me :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have CouchSurfed twice. My first time was in Germany, and it forever changed my views on how strangers can come together and change perspectives. Great memories have been made.
