Originally from Texas, I've had great experiences with the CS family: while backpacking around the world, hosting in Austin, Texas, and hiking in Asturias, Spain.

I've met some of my best friends through this network.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people and explore parts of the city I wouldn't normally find.

Interests

Hiking, kayaking, camping, most sports involving a body of water, writing, reading, linguistics, languages.

I would like to get better at diving, surfing and cooking.

I'm especially committed to working with immigrants, refugees, international students and other groups who are trying to find a sense of home.

I've lived and worked with people from more than 25 different countries, and I've been welcomed into so many beautiful families. Definitely want to give a little back after the hospitality I've been shown.
