ABOUT ME

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota. Next year I will graduate with majors in American Indian Studies, Anthropology, English, and Multi-Cultural Studies. I am an enrolled member of the Red Lake Anishinaabe tribe (also known as Chippewa/Ojibwe Indians). I love outdoor adventures (backpacking, hiking, rafting, anything!), run on my NCAA Division III college track and cross country teams, and enjoy learning and meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

I am very open to learning about all philosophies. I believe that we need to make the most of our time here and enjoy every moment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I participated in couch surfing for the first time this summer 2013. My boyfriend and I stayed with two different hosts while traveling through Europe. I immensely enjoyed the experience and hope to do more surfing in the future. I am unable to host others but plan to do so when I can.

Too many to name. I love a variety of genres of music, books, and film, as long as they are good!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. Snowboarding at Brighton, Utah the day after a snow storm. The sun was shining, the sky was mountain blue, and the snow was as powdery and deep as can be.
2. Running along Pismo Beach, California with the sun rising in the east and the moon setting in the west.
3. Exploring Denali National Park in Alaska -- the magnificent mountain ranges, wildlife, and beautiful landscape.
