Hello fellow couchsurfers! I’m Ashley :) I’m from a little town in north central Illinois that most of you likely haven’t heard of: Streator. Willing to share all about it if you’re interested. From a young age I’ve loved exploring, hiking, geography, and learning about different states, countries, cultures, etc., which has inspired me to travel! I currently work as a speech therapist and have summers off, so no better time than that to see the world.

I enjoy reading both fiction and nonfiction. Mystery and romance novels take the cake though :)

And I’ll be honest, I don’t watch a lot of movies. I prefer TV series and YouTube 😂

Participated in the national tournament for tennis in college, where I played in NYC at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (where the US Open is held!)

Spontaneously packed my bags and took a cross country trip the following day :)
