Traveling because I must follow my heart-I know no other path...

update: I'm now living in Quito and absolutely loving it. I will be traveling back and forth between here and the Orient for the next year as I home school a high schooler in Quito and help start a school in the Amazon. I'd love to make some friends and get really comfortable in Ecuador. I also am learning Spanish, so I'll take any help I can get!!

I'm a montessori school teacher (i teach a little bit of everything to some of the coolest kids in the world) who took a year off to travel.. Bahhh!! :) I'm starting in Europe and eventually making my way to South America. I want to see the world from the perspective of those around me-the heart of any city is in its people, not its monuments.

I am deep, open-minded and flexible. I love a rich and meaningful conversation, hopefully full of laughter, but also appreciate a comfortable silence.

surfing for now, definitely hosting when I have a home again. Also, to explain my 0 reply to surfers: I made my profile but then didn't interact with CS for months... I know, I feel awful now that I've been traveling and know how helpful it is when someone replies, but unfortunately I can't fix this until I get back...in a year!
