I am a 44 year old Australian male that is right into the bikepacking adventures on my mountain bike. Bikepacking is when you have a all your camping/sleeping/cooking gear with you on your bike including your food and water. Then you hit the single trails in the forests and bushlands.

Apart from that, professionally I am an Engineering Surveyor back in Perth, Western Australia. I like to mountain bike race, adventure triathlon and I'm pretty keen on some good tucker.

I'm here mostly as a backup to using Warmshowers.org which is the cycling community's couch surfing but less popular. I use both mainly to have a real experience in a city or town and hopefully meet active adventurous cyclists or mountain bikers such as myself. Also great to have a home base with people(hosts) as it gets lonely out in the countryside when your bikepacking solo!
