Hi! My name is Ash, I am 19years old.
I am currently on a year break from university, I was studying Civil Engineering. I currently work at the biggest Casino in Slovakia. I grew up in Malaga, Spain most of my life but for the past 2 years I have been living in Bratislava. My father is from the Netherlands and my mother is Slovakian. I also lived in Sweden last summer. And when I was 14 I lived for 2 months in Japan and when I was 16 I lived in Japan for a year.

I have travelled and lived in many different countries, mostly as a kid. As a kid I lived in Costa Rica, America, Turkey... Everywhere around the map.

I have worked as a bartender, Mcdonalds and even as a teacher.
My hobbies mainly include dancing, clubbing, going out with friends, hikes with my dog and enjoying a lake in summer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel so much, I used to stay around by hostels and friend. I always felt a bit shy to try couch surfing, but my partner has had so many good memories from it. That I am willing to give it a try. I have had a lot of exchange students stay at my house, since I am no longer a student I miss it. But I hope those experiences can happen again!

We have a small apartment in the city center, with a small garden and a big dog. I can offer you a single person matress when you come over.

My favorite music is RnB and HipHop. My favorite artists include: Childish Gambino, Frank Ocean, Tyler, the Creator but I also love Frank Sinatatra and SubFocus.

I dont really read books since I have dyslexia, so I often feel discouraged to read since it is pretty hard for me. But when I do read, I love romance. Especially, Call Me By Your Name

I am a huge movie fan, I love every genre of movie. From horror to comedy... The best genre for me is older SciFi, for example Back To The Future

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent an entire year on exchange in Japan when I was 16, attending a technical high school. I was the only girl in my class with 44 boys.

I have a snowboard instructor license, but sadly its not cold enough to snow, so I can not really teach you that. But I can share some really good places in this city for drinking and partying!
