Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Queens, New York by a Jamaican immigrant parents in a town house with my younger brother and two cats. Years later, I've moved to the edge of Queens but I want more than my Queens, New York bubble and have an itching wander lust that insatiable.
I'm a research assistant in a non profit public health office, who's primary focus is early detection for workers who have worked in hazardous materials. I love medicine and want to be a nurse in the future. Yet I also have an artistic side and love to draw and paint.
I'm social, love to laugh, sarcastic, witty, nerdy and sometimes clumsy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So back to that itching wanderlust.... I want to explore other places and couch surfing seems like the best way to not only do that but interact more with the locals in the process and make new friends.
Looking forward to meeting you :)
Interests
I'm interested in all things art related, medicine, making DIY crafts [ I made my own nightstand! Wooohoo!] , hiking, rockclimbing, exploring museums, lounges and beautiful architecture, the best restaurants [I'm a huge foodie! ] , being a night owl and regretting it the next day, quoting from movies/shows/books and in general being my silly, sarcastic lighthearted self. I love animals so if you have cats and dogs awesome!
