Hi! In my current job, I am an English language assistant at a high school in the south of France. I am a middle school social studies and english teacher from Virginia, USA. I absolutely love to travel and live abroad. I believe the best parts of travel are the people you are able to meet, and I look forward to meeting you. Right now I'm traveling with my previous roommate, Milou, and we are looking for a place to stay in Annecy. She speaks Spanish and French, and I speak English and French.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couch surfing to get a better feel for the city I am visiting! I like to hear first hand experience and stories of the city by people who live there. I learn so much more this way!

Music, Movies, and Books

It really doesn't take much to impress me with movies. I'm a sucker for sad movies, but I love comedies and action too. I like a lot of different types of music. I can listen to anything from jazz to swing music and today's hits and indie music. I love live music! Books! I love to read. My current favorite book is 'Beneath a Scarlett Sky' written by Mark T. Sullivan. I love book recommendations! I am usually simultaneously reading a fiction book and non fiction book at the same time.
