Living in Hawaii for college, I got a lot of friends of friends staying at my house for a place to crash on their adventurous vacations.
One of my roommates and I also hitchhiked around the Big Island for about a week and were totally homeless. It was one of the best experiences I've had. We made some new kind and wonderful friends.
