I'm Ashley, a student from Vietnam. I got super lucky with a scholarship that sent me to Canada to fulfill my dream of seeing the world, and now I'm traveling around the US before going home.

I was born in Moscow, Russia and spend most of my life growing up in Hanoi - the capital city of Vietnam.

When I have free time, I love taking photos, playing my violin, making vlogs, and going for hikes. I always want to learn more about life, culture, and people.

I really value the cultural exchange aspect of Couchsurfing, which is why I only reach out when I have the time to truly spend with my host. Being naturally curious, what really excites me about Couchsurfing is the chance to see a city through my host's eyes.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Travel from Narita to Tokyo back and forth in 4 hours (visited 5 tourists destinations, still be able to eat sushi and ice cream) during an 11 hour transit, I was still early by 2 hours

Stepped out of my comfort zone to participate in an international violin competition in Malaysia and get second prize in my age group, I didn't start violin until later in highschool

Not something I did but was pretty cool - Studied with a Canadian rugby player - He plays for the Olympics Tokyo 2020

Try my very best to get the scholarship to get to the other side of the world to visit my bucket list - Banff National Paảk

Making my parents proud because they means a lot to me <3
