I am a 25 year old graduate student at Michigan State University. I am pursing my degree in a Masters of Clinical Social work. I love traveling, eating at cool restaurants, exploring new places, and hearing the stories of people's lives. I also love going to concerts! I am a little shy and awkward at first, so I am really trying to step out of my comfort zone and experience new things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I will be studying abroad in Finland for school, so I plan on traveling Europe afterwards! I have never done anything like this before, and I am really trying to broaden my horizons and see the world outside of Michigan. I have felt really complacent and comfortable lately, and I've come to realize I'm not as happy as I could be. I want to make a drastic change in my life and experience new things, which resulted in this trip by myself

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered for Habitat for Humanity for a week in Tennessee, and it was a truly life changing experience. I went with 10 people I had never met before, and ended up making some new friends and having one of the best trips of my life. It was unforgettable and I want to have more experiences like that.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would really just like to have the opportunity to explore new cities and see how different life is in other countries. I've always dreamed of traveling abroad, and just getting to experience life from a new perspective is so exciting to me! I'm trying to get the most out of life and break out of my comfort zone. I will bring a perspective as an American (but I am NOT a Trump supporter FYI haha) and how the culture here is.
