I'm a free spirit with a penchant for finding the adventurous side of life. Currently in the midst of my biggest adventure yet (travelling the world indefinitely), I'm finding the more open I am to new experiences, the more rewarding they are. As an artist, photographer, and writer, I have also found that sharing what I'm discovering has helped others find their own paths in this beautiful and complicated world. I will continue to strive towards this sort of open sharing as I make my way across the globe.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe the local people from any given place are the ones a traveler should get to know. By doing so, you can get a much better chance at truly understanding, and loving, the place where you are. Besides that, Couchsurfing seems like a way to connect with a wide variety of people who all have the potential to open my mind and teach me a great deal.

Interests

I love to write, read travel blogs, cook delicious food, have good conversation, and listen to records. I'm a runner, yoga novice, and bacon eater. I would gladly spend time alone with a good book or talking with friends over wine and sunsets.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a jazz, blues, and folk lover. That, however, is outweighed by my love for all things ridiculous, so Led Zeppelin and 80's pop reign supreme. Oh, and EDM, psychedelic funk, and house step in as second loves.
My book love spans from Terry Pratchett to Marquez, with classic literature holding a special place in my heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My life is a set of amazing and constantly evolving stories, and the ones that stand out are hard to choose from. Every day that I'm able to wake up and make some more, I'm grateful for it.
