I am an Elementary School Teacher, and my husband (Ryan), substitute teaches and also helps house homeless veterans. We both love to travel, and just want to make the most out of life. In 50 years we don’t want to think to ourselves “I wish we would have” but instead think “remember when”.

We are choosing to couch surf in order to have a more authentic stay. Staying in a hotel is where the typical tourists go, but we want to see the sights in a different light.

One amazing thing we have done is hiked through the Mohave Desert National Park and saw a rattlesnake

Our goal is to explore and learn about as much of this amazing world as we can. We want to get engulfed in the culture, partake in customs and celebrations, and devour local cuisine. We both work in the school systems, and want to share this experience with the students!
