I'm an avid traveler and backpacker who enjoys discovering the world and having her perspective readjusted.

TRAVEL HISTORY

My love for travel started in Spain during a three-week class and continued when I lived and studied in Mexico for a year. It expanded my mind and increased my fluency in Spanish. I returned to the US, moved to Seattle and entered the business world for about five years.

After kicking my traditional corporate job, I backpacked for six-months in South America, volunteering in Bolivia for one month, and then backpacked for two months in Southeast Asia. With each journey, my love for exploration grow. I now have an ever-growing list of new destinations to discover!

AT HOME

In Seattle, I explore through hiking, blues dancing, and making music as a singer, songwriter and musician in a folk-pop band, Party of Doubt. For "work", I create safe spaces for transformation and self-discovery through my practice of Nonviolent communication and other approaches.

In my spare time, I indulge in engaging and growth-focused conversations over tea, coffee or wine.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During my travels, I've stayed with locals, bunked in hostels, booked hotels, etc...almost everything. I by far prefer meeting locals and/or other travelers.
