CURRENT MISSION

Taking a year off of teaching to travel with my best friend and significant other, Nate. Our goals are simple: take advantage of every opportunity, gain new experiences, meet new people, and create unforgettable memories.

ABOUT ME

For the past 4 years I've been an art teacher for a middle school and like to spend my winter and summer breaks traveling. Although thus far my travels have mostly been inside the US via road trips, I'd like to branch out and experience the world.

I'm a happy, outgoing, sometimes messy, somewhat sarcastic, laid-back, go-with-the-flow individual who loves meeting new people and having new experiences.

Currently I am travelling in Europe and will be looking for places to Couchsurf in Italy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Nothing from this website yet but I spent a recent summer floating around the east coast at the homes of various family, friends, and acquaintances. I enjoyed this time immensely and want to branch out!

Interests

I grew up in the country, have lived about an hour outside of Philly, and recently left my residence in a quiet beach town in NC. I love almost anything involving the outdoors (as does my counterpart, Nate): biking, hiking, camping, the beach, or swimming are some of my favorite activities. I also love socializing with friends at things like wing night, game night, or just sitting out around a fire .

When I'm not outside or socializing with friends I'm either drawing, reading, or bumming around with my pets.

With movies and books it's hard to pick a favorite but I just don't like Horror or sappy Romances for either topic...I do love a good Thriller, Action/Adventure, Mystery, Fantasy, or Rom-Com.

Teach, Learn, Share

Not sure if this is accurate but I've heard airline prices go up if the website recognizes that your computer has searched that trip before. However, if you search for airfare in an "incognito" tab then it won't raise prices when you search again.
