About Me
CURRENT MISSION
to shine like a star in the universe, holding firmly to the word of life (Phil. 2)
ABOUT ME
I'm passionate about the potential that renewable energy systems have to impact the developing world for positive social and economic change. I run a non-profit, the World Energy Project, that exists to design and install renewable energy systems in the developing world. I'm almost done with undergrad, and I'll have a degree in Biological Systems Engineering with and emphasis in Environmental Engineering and a minor in Energy Sciences in December 2012. After that the sky's the limit!
Interests
I love to hang out with people, meet new people, and learn new things! I like to discover new music and read and write free verse and sometimes paint. I love being outdoors too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sun set in the Bako region of Mali, and glimmer off of solar panels that supported a small medical clinic. Solar panels were the only energy option this hospital had, practically and financially. It was then that I realized the potential that exists across the world to install a renewable energy infrastructure, and leapfrog dirty fossil fuels. That was in the spring of 2008.
