CURRENT MISSION

I have found the enlightenment that comes from befriending and getting to know the stories and lives of other people. I am genuinely interested in all the people that surround me on this earth and I want to be able to make a difference in their lives.

ABOUT ME

Hi there! I am a very random person who likes a little bit of everything.I love to laugh and make people laugh. I enjoy having a good time and going on random adventures. I also like to party and stay out all night, although I'm also game for a night in with a glass of wine and good conversation.

I enjoy the outdoors more than anything- camping, mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, wakeboarding, etc. I LOVE the summer although I live in a place that can get pretty cold and snowy during the winter months. My passions are MUSIC AND TRAVEL! I sing in a band for different bars and clubs on the weekends. I also play piano (still learning!) and write music. I want to see the world and I'm seriously thinking about just moving to another country and seeing where life takes me. One of my favorite things to do is to meet new people... everyone is interesting and has a story you can learn from. I have an awesome family whom I'm very close with and friends who I would die for.

I'm as much of a free spirit as they come. This being said, my personal opinion is that there's so much more to life than what we're told to believe in. I don't think there is one right way to live life but I know that I refuse to conform to the social norm. I will not give up my freedom and the esscence that makes me who I am by being told what I should wear, how skinny I should be, how old I should be when I get married, how I should think, and what a "respectable" life consists of. I find beauty in deviation and contraversy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently went on a 3-day backpacking trip through Yosemite. Probably not the most crazy thing anyone's ever done, but it was really special to me. My friends and I got caught in a snow storm and woke up to inches and inches of snow. It was such a challeging adventure but one in which I was able to find myself a little more. The most awe-inspiring moment was walking through the wildnerness all by myself, surrounded by peaceful serenity, and walking alone in the snow... I was able to reflect on life and realize how small and minute my life is to this infinite world. It showed me the bigger picture and made me laugh at the worries and stresses of everyday life. The most freeing experience was to stand on top of a mountain overlooking a meadow thousands of feet below and just think about how happy I felt at that moment. I can't wait for more experiences like this!
