Hi I'm Ashley, from Georgia. I've spent the past year traveling the west coast leading a team of 10 while working for different environmental non profits and soon I'll be settling down in Seattle to work construction for Habitat for Humanity. I'm open my twenties but my life has been a crazy ride thus far and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I love to travel and meet new people and I can't think of a better way to do that than couch surfing! The way I see it everybody has a story and I'm always on the lookout to hear a great one.

I love to cook vegetarian food, hike, and read. In college I was a classically trained metalsmith, which I still like to dabble in when I have the time and resources. Most Friday nights you'll find me at some kind of cultural event or a brewery.

For music I've been very into Fleet Foxes, Alabama Shakes, and Wood Brothers lately, although I'm never one to turn my nose up at country music. I read any kind of contemporary fiction and Junot Diaz, Cheryl Strayed, and Jonathan Franzen top my list of favorite authors.
