ABOUT ME

Salut! Je m'appelle Aisling, je suis Irlandaise et normalement j'habite a Édimbourg (en Écosse). Je suis ici a Marseille pendant 3 mois (de sept a décembre) pour apprendre français et faire un stage a l’hôpital Timone. Je voudrais aussi faire travail bénévole. A ce moment je reste dans un auberge de jeunesse a Vieux- Porte mais je cherche des logements a Marseille.

PHILOSOPHY

I love the idea of sharing and volunteering.... I am in Marseille working as a volunteer doctor to learn French, then I hope to volunteer in Africa in the future... I worked in a maternity hospital in Niger 2 years ago and this has inspired me to learn/ improve my French

J'aime bien l’idée de couch surfing. J'imagine une communauté de gens 'cool' qui veut s'entraider.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

J'ai fait le couch surfing a Bruxelles il y a 3 ans- c’était très bien!! J'ai reste avec Maarten Vercruysse pendant 1 semaine et j'ai fais un cours de français. Maarten était très gentil et j'ai eu un excellent séjour.

I hope that I can host others when I return to Edinburgh next year..

I love travelling and experiencing new places- I've lived/ worked/ travelled in Africa, Asia, America, Australia, South America!! Phew!! I love learning and want to improve my French so that I can work here or in West Africa in the future
