I have come to Thailand to teach English, I am doing the TEFL course here and hopefully will be getting work in Krabi after April. For now though I'm in Bangkok and it's a massive culture shock to this small town girl. I haven't been here long but feel I'm missing out on what this city has to offer by not getting out and about, except for KS Road.

I'll try anything once and I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie. My main interest though is scuba diving and can't wait to get some done over here in Thailand.

I don't particularly have just one favourite film, I love old Disney films and comedies are always easy to watch. I suppose I like the English cult films and can watch some of them over and over.
I read anything that keeps me hooked for more than the first chapter but preferred genre of books is probably thrillers.
I love going to drum and bass clubs on a night out but it isn't essential, I can dance to anything (whether it's good dancing is another question).

5 years ago I lived in a Peruvian shanty town for 10 weeks volunteering. We built a fully functioning bathroom and a bedroom for a family in the shanty town and I lived with another. I also taught children English.
