About Me

Hi, I'm a 22 y/o freelance photographer who has traveled almost all corners of India in the search of freedom, thoughts and stories. I've always like to take the road which is less traveled which lead me to my recent expedition in Nepal where I did the Annapurna Circuit in the most frightened time of the year (winter). I like making new friends on the way with whom I can stay in touch with and know about the community that I've stayed in before.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I like making new friends, I also like getting soaked into the community and daily-life of the people and places that I travel to. I think couchsurfing gives me that ability to know the place more as a host really can bring out the best in the place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I looove listening to the 90's rock. I'm also like the works of modern musicians like FKJ, Plini, John Butler.
I'm mostly interested in Tarantino films and also from the greats like Andrei Tarkovsky, David Fincher and Chris Nolan.
I'm currently reading a book called The Himalayan Adventures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have crossed the Annapurna Circuit in the month of January with the temperatures crossing -15 and -20 C with just a backpack and no oxygen mask at a height of 18,500 feet. I think that's the most amazing in my list by far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm ready to learn anything that comes my way.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my knowledge about the art world, my knowledge about world history.
I have been researching a lot lately about the climate change and I can have good and healthy discussions about that.
Other than that I would like to indulge in any kind of thoughtful and ideological discussion with the host and am willing to hear out and understand a lot from the host as well.
I am also fluent in the local language where I come from i.e, Marathi, so I would love to teach a few words about that language.
