ABOUT ME

Pretty much a very easy to get along kind of chap. If you see a guy across a room engaged in an animated discussion with a serious countenance yet with a hint of 'don't give two hoots' kind of smirk, that would probably be me. I can surprise you with a few contradictions. Absolutely love to travel. Been across 5 continents with 10 times as many friends around the world. A bit of an old school, spiritual, inquisitive soul.

PHILOSOPHY

A believer in the manifestation of thought and action. I believe in Karma. And you should know that it is real. What you sow, so shall you reap. As above and so below.
"All that we are is a result of what we have thought" and "your imagination is your preview of life's coming attractions". I think humans as a species are far more superior, capable and advanced than what the society makes us believe. Love is the singular most basis of our human existence.

Mostly at the weekly CS meets. Otherwise at events hosted by CS members.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far so good. I have had the fantastic opportunity to meet some really interesting people out here. Add to that the opportunity to know and understand different cultures and you cannot ask for anything more.

兴趣

I take a great deal of interest in learning more about our consciousness, the universe, true awakening, mindfulness and spirituality. A deep curious and inquisitive mind, I am intrigued by how humans as a race have profound internal energy deep within to shape our destinies. Everything around us is energy, vibrating at a frequency!

I am also a bit of an armchair automotive evangelist. A self confessed petrol head. I used to be a voracious reader of fiction, but lately I haven't been able to slot in some quality time for reading. Call me boring if you will, but I also take a lot of interest in reading up on international political affairs, the latest credit crunch, the next communist uprising, technology, social media, history to name a few.

Love outdoorsy stuff especially camping and hiking. Driving is another major pet peeve. My dream would be to drive atleast once on all the best driving roads in the world.

Again a bit old school. I grew up listening to rock n roll and retro music from the 70s, 80s and the 90s, but I have progressed onto Indie Folk for its rich blend of melody and lyrical brilliance.

The friendly owner of this coffee/spice plantation resort where I was put up for my weekend getaway said to me that they get to witness the best sunrise every morning. The catch is I have get to the summit of this massive hill overlooking the valley to get a VIP preview. The next morning, I was up by 4 am. By half past 4, I was fighting rocks, loose sand, thorny foliage, a la Rambo style making the near 60 degree climb. At 5:45, what I witnessed was not a stunning sunrise. But a surreal feeling of hope, endless joy, love and how insignificant we are, engaged in trivial pursuits of life.
