I grew up in India and have lived and traveled across the country right from my childhood.
I am someone who likes to travel to places and meet different people. I am interested in places that are steeped in history and culture. I like to roam the streets and try different foods each country, each place has to offer. I like to party too, and I usually prefer the non-pretentious, casual taverns and pubs.
When I am not traveling, I am usually am planning the next trip.

Some of the things that put me off are rude & inconsiderate people, dishonesty, people stuck up with weird ideas... you know what I mean.

I think Couchsurfing will give me the opportunity to meet different yet kind a' like minded people from different parts of the world. Besides, I alway prefer staying local, to take in the culture.
