My name is Joanna ( Asia is a polish nickname ) ( you don’t pronounce it like continent Asia - I will be more willing to show you how to say it in Polish and teach u some polish words ) I am 22 yo woman who loves to travel. I don’t know when or how I figured how much I love to explore cultures and new places. I have been living in a suburbs of Warsaw since forever . When I turned 20 I decided that I want my biggest dream come true. That’s why I became au pair in USA . A good thing if it comes tv series ) . If you are open I will open up for you . Sometimes I get it pretty hard to socialize in a big group of people but when I meet people personally I am really confident .

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

When I first heard of Couchsurfing- I’ve heard - it’s free accommodation couldn’t understand how it works . Polish people don’t trust people and they are not that open ( not everyone , stupid stereotype but true most of times ) when I came to United States a lot of my au pair friends told me more about it . First I was scared to try it . I was only true traveler in my polish group of friends . I never traveled a lot in Poland. Now I found au pair and this website where people share the same interest and I find it pretty amazing that you can meet people all around world . I love to hear people stories and get inspired .
Life is too short to sit at home . I was always not home person . I met South African and British friend and they became my besties . I met a nice Canadian man in Quebec who shared his story with me ( he was honest about my art work) I really appreciate honesty . So anyways I just love idea of meeting people. I hope when I eventually live by myself I will be able to share a room or couch in my place .

Musik, Filme und Bücher

About music it’s simple . I will listen to anything .I am open to any kind of music . But I find jazz and classical music pretty relaxing . I like Chainsmokers ( went to concert twice , I really like Ed Sheeran ( most people do like him ) . I am huge fan of country music (Nashville was my dream place for that ) . Don’t know any specific bands or singers( but I enjoy any kind of country music ) I also like alternative rock .
What about books and movies
I am huge fan of Harry Potter ( I watch every part at least twice every year ) I remember staying one day in Harry Potter World in universal studios and didn’t get enough .
I am not fan of reading ( sometimes I rly have a spirit for that but not quite often ) but I like reading story of wimpy kid of cours Harry Potter books and 13 reasons why
What about tv series I love the Walking Dead ( last season wasn’t really great ) The flash ,Teen Wolf , Stranger Things ( I watch a lot of series but those are my fav )

What can I share with you is that I recently found out that I am a good cook . I changed host families twice and in current one I have to cook every day ( pretty challenging with meatetarian , nutritionist and vegetarian at the same house ) I make rly good bbq chicken pizza and chocolate chip cookies are the best I can make .I also can share my photography interest with u . I am not professional but I am into it for about 4 years already . I can teach you some polish as well .

As I mentioned below I can make the best bbq chicken pizza and bake you chocolate chip cookies . Funny thing is when I bake them it’s less than a day and they are all gone. I learnt how to prepare different meals that I can share . I didn’t mention that I love beer . I can buy or if possible bring some polish beer or sweets you can try ( we have some polish stores in NJ and I am always excited When people try my home country food . I also can make a photo shoot . I lve photography and sometimes people ask me what is my charge for photos but I am still building my portfolio so I don’t charge and I am happy if anyone wants photos ( even new facebook profile pic or just random picture . I am also I movie lover ( I am trying to learn adobe premiere program and I hope to make videos some time soon . I also can share you my au pair story and tell you a little
