About Me

Originally from Boston, I moved to Boulder before pursuing a higher education. I moved here on a whim and haven't regretted a single second of it. Although, being away from family and close friends can be hard. I am 22, currently work inside a cafe at a private fitness facility. I am continuing to take time off from school to work, volunteer and travel.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I know traveling can be an expense. But with Couch Surfing it doesn't have to be! I've met some really great people on this site, and hopefully more in the near future. If I have the space why not; it's cost effective, somewhat eco-friendly, and a fantastic way to meet like-minded travelers.

Interests

I read and write poetry. Cycle, hike and swim. I frequently knit and make jewelry. Photography holds a special place in my heart. LOVE to cook and try a variety of wine's, meads and spirits. Looking to study something in the environmental field-- as living in Boulder has made me extremely conscious and aware of living a sustainable lifestyle. Interested in WHOOFing. I have been traveling a lot more lately, and writing, blogging and documenting that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Book: Into the Wild

Music: I'm a lover of almost anything

Movies: something indie, documentary

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Swam in a tropical storm at a Mayan ruin in Tulum, Mexico.

Teach, Learn, Share

Definitely open to all kinds of guests. I would love to learn a new instrument, how to read music, or a new video game or music program. I absolutely want to learn a new card game, like poker or gin rummy.

Still need to learn more about the environmental, eco-friendly world even though it's already a high interest in lifestyle of mine.

I can teach you how to knit or make some jewelry. Play darts or Beer Pong ( I play in a weekly tournament)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live in a quaint apartment building located in central Boulder near Pearl St and the local buses and transit center. For my guests, I can currently provide an open couch for sleeping arrangements (pillow and blanket included), small bathroom, kitchen to prepare and cook meals. We have wifi - and a TV with an HDMI chord but no Cable. Oh, and great company of course! I have two male roommates in their early twenties who are kind and respectful but also know how to have a great time and have artistic flavor about them. I work full time but also would love to show you around to some of my favorite spots in Boulder & Denver.
