Overview
About Me
blessings world,
i just returned from portland, or, after spending a year studying and writing there. i am a lover of writing and in turn cafes and coffee. i travel often times, based on what the cafe culture in an area is like. portland and montreal, so far have been my favorite in this regard. i was fortunate to teach what i love - creative writing - for five years, at a high school in brooklyn. i only left to pursue my other passion - yoga and holistic health. this is what i'm currently doing, or transitioning into. i love our earth, the beauty and serenity of it, and enjoy exploring its jewels through hikes and meditations by lakes and rivers. i go in between vegetarian, vegan, and flexetarian. these days i'm the latter. hmmm...what else? i'm easy to get along with, respectful of others space, and love the arts.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Music, Movies, and Books
these days i've been listening to hinds. heard of them? they are an eclectic quirky band from spain. i have yet to watch a movie that tops "eternal sunshine of the spotless mind". and books wise, i'm in the midst of several - shiatsu, anatomy & physiology, trail guides, pablo neruda poems collection.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
after a 30 hour amtrak ride from ny to chicago (it went down south first)...i rolled out my yoga mat in front of the amtrak station and did yoga for an hour. i'm not sure how amazing it was, but it felt amazing.
