Overview
About Me
Hi there! I’m Andy, working in zhejiang University as a researcher. My work focuses on making buildings more energy-efficient and reducing carbon footprints, but when I’m not crunching numbers or developing models, you’ll find me exploring the great outdoors or diving into a good book.
I’m an easygoing and curious person who loves learning about different cultures and ways of life. Whether it’s through sharing a meal, swapping stories, or discovering hidden gems in a city, I believe that connecting with people is the most enriching part of any journey.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, cycling, and experimenting in the kitchen—especially with recipes from different cultures. I’m also into sustainable architecture and enjoy discussing anything related to energy efficiency and environmental conservation. I’m always looking for ways to live a more eco-friendly life and would love to exchange ideas and experiences on that front.
I’m new to Couchsurfing, but I’m excited to meet new people, make lasting friendships, and share in the adventure of travel together.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that travel is about more than just seeing new places—it's about the connections you make along the way. That’s why I’m on Couchsurfing. I’m here to meet like-minded people who share a love for exploration, learning, and cultural exchange.
For me, the best travel experiences come from spending time with locals, hearing their stories, and getting a genuine feel for what life is like in their part of the world. Couchsurfing offers a unique opportunity to step beyond the typical tourist experience and dive into the everyday life of the places I visit.
I’m also eager to give back to the community by sharing my own culture, knowledge, and experiences. Whether it’s through cooking a meal, having a deep conversation, or simply enjoying a walk together, I’m looking forward to the mutual exchange that Couchsurfing fosters.
Ultimately, I’m on Couchsurfing to create meaningful connections, make new friends, and share in the adventure of discovering the world together.
