ABOUT ME

never know how to answer this kind of questions really. they remind me of stupid job interviews.. don't like talking about myself.. and, how can i define myself with a few sentences? i'd rather do that spontaneously and in person... but because i know nobody would host me/surf at my place if i don't write anything i am going to say something... but not too much so i keep a little bit of space for surprise! ;) i can say that there are many things i enjoy in life, and some of these are laugh, dance, friendship, nice books, a good conversation, love (i know, this is an essential ingredient of all of the above, right?!) and... (the last but not the least!) food! :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i had some experiences while traveling in the USA a few years ago, and during my trips to croatia and romania. also hosted a couple of times. always met great people! haven't done it over the last two years, but now im back! have forgotten how exciting it is!! :))

Music, Movies, and Books

i have to acknowledge that im one of those people that never know what's on in the cinemas, doesn't read the news, and doesn't know the names of the lead singers of the famous bands.. but if i have to recall some names that have had a particular impact on me, some of them would definitely be: emir kosturica, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, american beauty, one giant leap, la vita e bella, alo, alo!, Blackadder, o auto da compadecida, departures; eckhart tolle, dostoyevski, o. henry, kurt vonnegut, don quijote, paola mastrocola; gypsy music (goran bregovic, django reinhard, gogol bordello, tatcho drom..), folk/ indie-folk (such as Beirut), world (bonobo, dead can dance..), samba & bossa (seu jorge, beth carvalho, elza soares, chico buarque, gilberto gil... gosh, they're so many!).. and may b many others...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hmm.. to be honest, i think, that 'doing something amazing' is more a state of mind in a particular moment rather than the thing itself. anything you do can be amazing if you put enough thought and love in it - from sky diving to washing the dishes to give someone a nice tight hug - i've done them all and i loved it! :)
