About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Battling the Forces of Boredom

ABOUT ME

I like writing, and do a fair amount of it. I enjoy using semicolons, and employ them frequently in both my writing and speech. I wish I knew something about metalworking. I wish I could play the banjo. I can sing well enough, but I'm a terrible guitarist. I play the piano a little, but since my roommate with the Grand Piano moved out recently, my other roommate is snow spared any aural assault I might be tempted to subject her to. I don't like dangling participles; the above sentence is an example of the kind of sentence I hate.

Oh about this roommate: She doesn't know I'm signing up, and I suspect she wouldn't take kindly to strangers dropping by to crash on my couch, so if you drop in we're college buddies, okay?

Also, I can't figure out how to add a hard return to my profile. It's disturbing.

PHILOSOPHY

I got my personal motto from a fortune cookie:

"He who hurries cannot walk with dignity."
