I'm a 22 year old student and I've just graduated from my home uni in France with a BA in English Studies. I now live in London and study English Literature and Gender Studies. I like cats, chocolate, my friends, talking about arts, culture, books, politics and many other things, speaking english, being lazy, among other things...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My housemates and I are currently hosting people in our house in London. If you want to surf here, please send your request to my housemate Amy who centralises the e-mails. You can find her in my friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

1. Surfed with Anna in London - She's a very nice and welcoming girl and she hosted my best friend and I for two days.

2. Hosted Maxim and Olga from Nice - Maxim and Olga now live in Nice, but there's originally from Russia, and they were my first couchsurfers.

3. Hosted Amelie and Ricardo from Paris - Amelie and Ricardo stayed for a week-end with me and we had a great time.

4. Surfed with Amy in New-York City - I stayed with Amy for two absolutely fantastic weeks. She's the craziest, bestest pal ever ^^

5. Hosted Ritsuko from Japan - I met Ritsuko through a University program to help foreign students find a couch while they look for their own flat. She stayed with me for two weeks, we had a great time and ate a lot of râmen.

6. Hosted Eva from Croatia - I'd never met an Alaskan-Croatian before and I don't regret hosting this one for four days. I wish she could have stayed more, she's a real darling.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Movies : I'm a great fan of Johnny Depp's work, of Tim Burton's, Woody Allen's and Ken Loach's films.

Books : I like fantasy [Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Anne McCaffrey], sci-fi [Asimov] and political books, or basically books that talk about people and their everyday life in an interesting context.

Music : I listen to a lot of French songs with funny or meaningful lyrics like Georges Brassens, Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf, Boris Vian, etc ... but also many young french singers or bands. I'm also a fan of old rock or pop-rock english music like The Beatles, R.E.M., Simon and Garfunkel or even Bob Dylan [don't kill me because I mixed up musical styles, please *_*]

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach French and English and how to prepare some French meals ^^
As for learning, could someone please teach me how to be less clumsy ?
