CURRENT MISSION

To get out there! Start living this life I've made. Experiencing new and exciting things that I have only dreamed of. I'm curious to know what the world looks like. All I know is Canada. Not even all of Canada, I didn't explore as much as I wanted to throughout my teens and early twenties, but at the same time I'm happy it's all beginning now. I feel responsibility is key to planning trips and vacations. Who knows what kind of trouble I could have gotten into when I was younger!

ABOUT ME

I graduated from a Trade's school and know have knowledge in 6 different trades. Choosing the one I liked best was difficult.
I'm getting married in September/16 and a stepmom to a wonderful son.
Its not the easiest because you just want the best for them but they don't always find you very interesting when you're trying to pass on your knowledge and experiences lol.
We're all learning from each other everyday and while it's tough, its always rewarding.
I continue to grow everyday and am very excited for mine, and our future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I only had one experience and it was roughly about 8 years ago. I was young and our plans were all over the place, but it worked out well. Our hosts were wonderful accommodating people who showed up a few awesome sites around the city and even let us participate in a BBQ they had with friends.
It was an awesome experience and I cannot wait to do it again! Especially now that I'm older and know more about what I enjoy doing. Not just living it up and partying as often as I can lol.

Into the wild, across the universe, and limitless for movies.
As for music, I don't even know where to begin but I'll just name a few.
The black keys, kings of Leon, Florence and the machine, and x embassadors. I also enjoy a wide range of different music. From the blues all the way to some pop. My favourites are from eras before the 2000's.
I don't necessarily read books very often but I definitely like to cram knowledge into this brain from research, documentaries, and a lot about health and nutrition.
You could say I like to know a bit of everything :)

Cliff jumping! I know, it's probably not an uncommon thing to do, but I felt so liberated when I did it.

Respect. I am very respectful to someone opening their home to me.
I know home is a sacred place that you come to relax and be yourself in. It is not a place for chaos or drama.
I am also clean and tidy, and I love to offer cooking a meal at least once for my hosts. I was a cook for ten years, so I feel it can be very nice to just sit back and enjoy someone else do some cooking and cleaning.

An unforgettable experience and new friendship. I'm a pretty laid back and positive person. I find that there isn't a person I can't get along with because I have such an open mind to everything in the world.
