Interests

While I'm at school, my favorite moments are playing the flute in pit orchestras for musicals, and evenings spent cooking with friends. I adore paragliding, but have only done it twice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a morning in the Cemberlitas hammam in Istanbul with my mother and sister. The light streaming down onto the heated marble slab, not least of all the comradeship and utter cleanliness, took my breath away.

An evening walk with an old friend, on the top of a cliff in northern California. The wind buffeted us and the sky was only stars and darkness. I felt so small but so alive.
